Hey guys I just wanted to give you some sort of update on our tip south. Everything is in limbo.
If we are still able to make the trip it won't be until later Sunday because we've happened upon a planned family activity and if we bail on that as Uncle Owen said, "There'll be Hell to pay".
That leads to this, our books are really tight right now and we really don't need to press our finances to such an extreme to cover tip costs and what we need to take care of here.
We're going to do our best to get things arranged and do a final analysis on costs and such but as you money geeks know you can't spend what you don't have and it's no fun having too much month at the end of your money.

Here is your trivia for the day Who is Uncle Owen and why did he say "there'll be hell to pay"?
Uncle Owen is Luke Skywalker's "uncle" and he was refering to Luke having the droids out for moisture collection duty.
Man, it pains my heart that y'all may not make it, but I would rather y'all stay in TN and not go broke than to roll the dice and come down. Just remember, you can always cancel the hotel res and stay with a family here! Hope y'all make it, my friend.
More specifically, "he'd better have those units in the South Ridge repaired by midday or there'll be hell to pay," Uncle Owen said. I cheated and Googled it.
you do whatever it is you have to do, Mulls of the Mulls clan. The cookout wont be the same without you, but, a doubt a few hamburgers can make up for spending money that you dont have to spend.
Like I said Saturday is out and Sunday is too most likely but we're still going to try. What is the Stubblefield timetable for departure?
aww heck, if you arent going to be here on teh weekend, that sucks cuz school starts for me (well, work/school) that monday... you wont see me at all on monday. But you will see the Sipeprs I am sure.
The Stubbs will be here Friday night. I think they won't leave till Tuesday going back.
I am so dreading the first week of school
Isaac loved his first week of school and he had no idea what to expect. What are you griping about? His day consisted of playing, playing, a quick Bible lesson, a nap, more playing, movie watching, playing and ending with a movie until we picked him up.
I'd LOVE to play, take naos, and watch movies all day!!! Why can't we just stay 4?
my typical school day is not QUITE like Issacs
I have mixed feelings about going back to school. I'm really excited to get down to the nitty gritty, but then again I know I'm going to be lulu next semester. That's my word for the day, lulu. We're probably going to spend time w/ Jeanette on Sunday, just to let everybody know. I will be a Pouty McPouty if the Mullinses don't make it. Two more days, guys!!!!!!!!
I figured y'all would want to break-away Jeanette time. Good deal! It'll suck without the Mulls, but we'll muddle through. Can't wait to see everyone!
i think we will be able to work it out. my husband is a bit more cautious than me, but we will be fine i think. we were orginally gonna stay for 3 days, but it looks like 2 is the max. one of the stipulations in getting to go was getting my car fixed. i had a recall on it, something with the power steering pinion...and we dropped the car off last nite..so that's one thing down...now if i could just win the lottery....J/K!
If yall come on Monday, I hope I get to see you... new principal here, as nice as he is, left some of the most important work to be done the week before school, and he wont be back till tomarrow! which is a friday. The work has been left with me, and I have ever done it before and school can NOT start on monday until this is done.
So needless to say, if my friday isnt busy, my Monday will be....
