I think I'm going to cry

I've mentioned the Child Development class a few times, and you may wonder, sheesh, is Diana taking any other classes. Well, sirs, I am but this one is my most challenging and everyone has warned me about my teacher's test. Seriously, though, I'm the nerd in the front seat asking all the questions because I'm so intriqued by it all. So even though it's my hardest class, it's hands down my fave. And folks have said that her tests get you ready for PRAXIS II, which made me nervous.
Monday we took our first test. I think I did ok.
Yesterday one of the other teachers said that the Development teacher was dissapointed in us.
Today we got the test back. I saw her handing tests to my friends... 64, 72, 70, 61.....
And then she gives mine back.....
I got a 94, babies.

WOW! Good job! Doesn't it feel good to set the curve? Of course, she probably doesn't curve anyway. Good job!

This is how I know I've found my niche. I've never had particuarly high grades at CCU.

Academic success is probably one of the biggest boosts you can get. It's also nice to be able to proudly list your finishing GPA on your resume. The last two employers I've had even asked for official college transcripts! Keep up the good grades and you will benefit now and in the future.

No school wants to hire a teacher that got a C in Child Development.

It's true! That's why many employers ask for official transcripts. They want to look at each individual grade and see where you are strong and weak. Plus, they want to see how well-rounded you are. Are y'all tlaking about Skinner, Piaget, Ericson, etc. Maslow's hierarchy is cool, too. I like that stuff. Very interesting.

That's great. If you find something you are passionate about you're bound to succeed at every turn, congratulations.

Thanks guys!
Yeah, this test was on the different developmental theories, then (beginning today) we're going to learn about human development from birth to whenever. Friday we learn about prenatal (!!!!!). Yeah, Josh, those are the old guys we're studying. Erikson makes a lot more sense than Freud, I don't like Skinner too much, and I think we're going to spend a whole week on Piaget and another on Vygosky, because their philosophy is the basis of our program.
Maybe I should be a child psychologist instead of a teacher.

do both if you keep your grades as high as you have been you'll be able to get a ride from the state for your school.

I have come close to getting into psychology and counseling several times. I like the idea, but the pay isn't so great unless you have a Ph D, and then you're gonna be paying off burdensome loans. Anyway, psych is interesting and fun.

I'm sure it will be better than being a teacher.
