Phwew!

Well, the hurricane has apparently passed us by with some fairly minor rain and wind. Unfortunately, it smacked one of my favorite places in the world, New Orleans. I saw some photos online of the flooding there and it is catastrophic! Some areas are more than 20 feet underwater. Apparently, they had 2 levees burst and tons of rain there. I remember the last time we were there, we were in the French Quarter and a heavy rain came up. We saw people wading knee deep in the streets then! I can't imagine what a hurricane looks like. Please pray for all the people there.

I'm not praying for those losers it's like Sin City South. Let the whole thing float away. Plus in about 15 years it'll make great scuba diving.

I love the big NO! One of my favorite vacation spots, man! Excellent music, food, and history. Anyway, I ope they come out ok. We plan to go back for a visit in 2-3 years.

I went to NO for a chorus trip, and it was okay, very pretty buildings and landscaping, but I wouldnt want to walk around there at night, unless I really liked getting drunk and was single.

You'll forgive me, but Di, you're looking hot in your new picture!

Mullins you cracked me up.

Pray for the folks in New Orleans, pray that it will be a wake up call for some folks. And then pray for the folks in Afghanistan, Iraq, freakin' China, and heck add the poor folks in your own dang community to the list.

HAHAHA!
Way to give a married girl an ego boost!
Wouldn't it just be easier to say "Lord, bless everyone in the entire world."

Well, it is a cool pic, and you look very different, and very nice.

It would be easier to ask for general blessings. I was being slightly sarcastic because we get all excited over the mass destruction going on down there now, when there really is so much awfullness going on elsewhere in the world. All the time.

Good grief, you guys...Yeah, we should pray for all. I am concerned for NO for personal reasons, too. I have enjoyed every visit I have made there and have been in the French Quarter at night many imes with no problems. You just don't wanna go to some other areas at night, but you wouldn't want to do that in any other city anyway. But, I really love NO. There is so much to do there, nice people, and wonderful food! I don't imbibe, so I have never even had a glass of wine there and it has always been a blast! Anyway, I hope they can clean it up by the time we go back.

Charlie won't beat you up, but he may anal rape you.
Seiously, guys, thanks.
It really is horrible what went on the N.O. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. Why didn't they all evacuate, though?

I felt bad last night because i watched the news, and saw how NO is litterally LOWER than the rivers on each side (odd) which means since the levies broke, all house tops could be underwater soon... people looting, walking around in flith and poo infested waters... then, i saw a cockroach in my house and killed it and was so upset about it... then saw some mold growing in the little door that hold my heat pump and was upset about that... and my wife brought me back to relaity... at least our house isnt underwater... we are so luck and blessed.

ah yes...the Cafe Du Monde (Cafe of the World)! Beignet are the wonderful things you are speaking of, my friend. We go there every time we visit. NO is 30 ft BELOW sea level, btw. That's why the hurricane was so devestating. It's also the reason they cannot bury their dead. All people must be buried above ground in sarcophagi. Else, when a flood comes, all the dead rise!
