ok I think we should keep a running tab of gas prices so that we can see where thing whole thing ends.
My Cadillac has an 18 gallon tank Tuesday it cost me $41 to fill up from bottom to top. Gas was at $2.43. I've heard in the hallway the folks at Weigel’s are telling people to fuel up now because it's slated to go up another .30 cents in the next day or so. One of our cheap places was $2.79 this morning. Oh yeah, TN state gas taxes are quite hellish. So where are the rest of you guys at?
18 gallons @ $2.43 = $41

$2.43 per gallon is the cheapest I've seen it here, too. I have heard that the prices will go as high as $4 in some places soon. I already anticipated that, though. We had to start paying some time.
It's $3.50 here now.
cheap stuff in Oak Ridge jumped to $3.09 at the lowest station in town.
i stil got it for under 2.70. cost me 44 bucks for a fill up.
It's $3.24 here. Let me just say that I am so glad I live like a mile and a half from work, and get good gas mileage. I can literally go weeks without filling up my tank.
I use half a tank every 2 weeks driving a V8 truck...glad I live close to work, too! Gas was $2.69 when I filled up yesterday.
i fill up once a week and am still glad i dont live in town... (have to be different dont i?)
when we went to the grocery store last nite it was 2.99 at one place. by the time we were coming home, having spent maybe an hour at kroger, it had jumped to 3.19.
I just remember driving 1 hour 1 way to work! No way could I do that now. I also heard a report today about price gouging. In Atlanta, there are places pricing gas over $6 per gallon!!! I already predicted gas going over $4, but I didn't think it would come this soon!
Too bad there isn't someone knowledgeable in a position of power, who’s not connected to income increases on every barrel sold to federally stop gouging at the pumps...
there is the blame game again... bravo champ
It's gonna take more than political maneuvering to bring gas prices down. It's supply and deman, y'all. A basic economic concept. There ain't enough oil, so we ain't gonna get it cheap.
