The Agents Are Coming! The Agents Are Coming!
Well, y'all wish me luck. I have an agent who's interested enough in my manuscript to request the first three chapters. This guy has agented for Clive Cussler, Richard Marcinko, and several other big sellers. Maybe something will turn out for me! I'll keep you all updated!
Here is a link to some info on the agent.

OH! OH! That's fabulous! That's so exciting! Yaya, my bubby Sipper's gonna be a writer!!!
Well, hopefully a published writer anyway. Y'all pray for me! Please! I REALLY want this!
either way, it feels good to have someone at least be interested in your work... thats a step further than you were when you were looking for a publisher, eh?
Diana, did you call Sip your "bubby"? What in the world?!
i assumed it was a typo... wasnt gonna say anything...
I think "bubby" mean "brother"...Thanks, sissy! Did that sound derogatory? I didn't mean it to.
Well, I sent the sample chapters the agent requested. If he likes them, he'll probably request the whole manuscript. If he likes the whole thing, he'll send me a contract to sign.
Then, the search begins! The best thing about having an agent is the fact that it opens me up to about 3/4 of the publishers in the world! Right now, without an agent, I only have access to a few publishers who will accept "unagented submissions". Anyway, it could really open some doors for me if this works out. Thanks for the encouragement and prayers bubbies and sissies!
Id prefer to be called sissy, personally.
OK, sissy...Oh, man, that's just weird!
Hey, "Who is this beautiful Charlie? Ma ga! Wha have Ah done?!?! Letting the days go by..."
"...letting the days go by (water flowing underground), same as it ever was."
It's a slang British word for brother....
just kidding. It's a typo
good come back though, ill have to use that one.
Excellent I'm so excited. I know you'll keep us posted.
