MARCH 17-19
The planned get together is the weekend of March 17-19. This date was developed to coincide with the spring break of those folks who are still in school.
I know that Jules and I have made our plans and I think I remember the Brew’s saying something along those lines as well. The Chucks might be gone south by that time so I can only speak for myself and say that I would love to see everyone else if it is at all possible.
Brew had mentioned that he and Amy might come down a day or so earlier and crash at the Braly pad. Jules and I would like to come down earlier as well to frolic with our distant family.
Stubbs, what say ye? Chucks?
I think it would only be right if the Fred’s joined in as well.

That sounds like a plan to me. If it's ok with Hotel Sipper, we may come a few days earlier than that too. Maybe the 15th? I shall discuss the situation with Mr. Stubbs and ask off work and what not!
Of course we're going. Dur!
ill keep Fred abreast (giggle) of the goings on when yall arrive.
We're keeping the Stubbs. We're looking forward to it, all!
OK, we didn't take any incriminating pics this time, but Jamison, Chuck and I had our monthly "boy's night" and smoke on Fri 13th.
It was a great time with good smokes, good music, and a FIRE in my new fire pit. It was so good, in fact, that we were all in agreement that the boys should sit round the fire one evening while everyone is here.
We can have beverages, smokes, music, and some nice, dark chocolates to go with our smokes. It's a great topper.
I realize that not all of us will partake of the smokes, but we can all enjoy and watch the flames dance as we talk and remenisce.
Twill be a fine time, my friends!
So, according to the title, we should expect a long weekend of friends and frolic...
This sounds good! But, we should try to have some stuff sort of planned.
Any ideas? Let's start getting some stuff rolling!
Hmm, it was really entertaining when Charlie and Josh tried to ice skate...
Just kidding! I'm all for some mini golf or something like that. Maybe a picnic at Shakespeare. Not so into movies because there's no actual social value.
Definitely plan some meals together as we'll all be staying different places- we love to cook.
Us girls will need a girl's night out while you fellas get your smoke on. Not sure what to do with the rugrats though.
Yeah, we might have to do a trade-off somehow.
I love the Shakespeare picnic idea! Let's all definitely do that.
What happened to the old idea of Kareoke?
I can't wait. I'm going to ask off for Tuesday-Sunday.
whoo-hoo!! can't wait either. gonna be great to see everyone again. we are still gonna stay in a hotel, just cuz i love to see isaac jump from one bed to the other....
although he keeps his clothes on when he does it...*snicker*
I dig the picnic idea. My only problem is that Jules and I aren’t bringing our own babysitters and as nice as the Sipper g-parents might be they may not be our boys may not be hip to the idea of staying with them while we go out and sing.
In the past when we’ve got to places like that I’ve ended up driving the kids around while everyone else does their stuff. If the set up is good then I’m up for karaoke of anything.
I also like the fire side hangout with the fellas. I’m very keen to having a girls and guys night. I’m not sure which day we’re coming down but I think we’ll be able to squeeze everything in.
I’m not into a movie of play because I can do that stuff without driving six hours away. Of course there is nothing keeping up all tied to the hip either.
I had thought that I’d like to see Elrod, if he’s local and show off the kids but that’s about it as far as off schedule stuff goes.
Museum and goose feeding might be nice but can just as easily fall into the picnic plan as anything else.
As a footnote Isaac will disrobe as quickly as Jamison if prompted and leap, flying free, around anything.
I'm very excited about seeing everyone! Spring break can't come soon enough!
It won't be long, sister!
We'll get the fire pit ready and have some food ready for cookin'!
