Alabama Burning
Here's a link to a report about arson on 9 church buildings in west Alabama:

They all seem to be Baptist church buildings and there seems to be a pattern. I have a feeling it's some sort of religious vendetta. Should the coC be on guard, too?
Scary!

as long as adam and steve arent into buring churches, we are okay...
Uh oh...forgot about them.
I remember this crazy guy when I was a kid who was always trying to burn stuff down.
His name was Paul Ander Tomlin, but they called him "Hot" Tomlin because he was always burning his house down and trying to get the insurance money.
He was in and out of mental institutions all his life for that. Once, during one of his releases, he tried to burn Rock Hill coC's building down. Fortunately, the cocktail malfunctioned and the building was saved.
People are crazy, man!
(I made this joke with sip and chuck friday night, but Ill do it here since it is so fitting)
I think Frankenstien's monster said it best when he said "Fire bad."
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!
Lol to Jamison. He tickles me.
Yeah, I'm a little freaked out for you guys. However, from what it looks like on TV, they have a lot of evidence, so I'm sure they'll catch the Pyro soon.
Jamison used to tickle me too but then he touched me in my private places and I got a restraining order.
I don’t think the c.o.C has too much to worry about. Being independent congregations we don’t pick up the lightening rod of things like the Southern Baptist Convention where people can get pissed at the whole of a group.
Plus c.o.C folks aren’t known for their public rebuking of ideals and such, well outside of campy slogans on their front signs anyway. When was the last time you’ve ever seen the church of Christ have a guest speaker on anything?
I mean you’ve got old Max in California doing his thing but still it’s within a small collection of religious folks and worlds away from things the outside world is concerned with.
Plus this is good practice for those Baptists anyway, what with their heathen eternity in hell and all.
Ya'll got nothing to worry about until Adam and Steve get wind of the whole thing.
Of course, when we tell everyone else that they are all going to hell, we might not be in the clear when it comes to someone's wrath.
It's funny that Christians can be some of the unhappiest, annoying, stressed-out people.
Yet, we're supposed to be the opposite! I've been trying a lot harder to be nicer and more open. Don't get me wrong; I'm not talking about slighting the Word and doctrine, here. I'm just tlking about exhibiting more of the Christian attributes like kindness, goodness, humility, patience, etc.
Sometimes I think folks just don't get the point.
