“I’m feeling much better, much better, much better”
Of all the songs that were sung I think this is my least remembered and most favorite. What makes it great is Chuck’s slowly recovering “yeah” to close it out.
I know it had its low points for Chuck but sitting around the fire was tops for me. It was a great reward to the first day and the perfect inspiration for the next.
Again, I loved the trip. It was a true test of will and strength for us all.
I'd do it again, but a bit differently so we could enjoy it a bit more. Perhaps shorter or with more mechanical aids.
But, truly a childhood dream fulfilled.
