Customer Service from Hell

Some guy called AOL to cancel his service that he was no longer using. He recorded the phone call and the results are as hilarious as they are scary.

At work warning: in frustration the guys lets out a couple of curse words.

Sorry, it seems to automatically play when you pull up the page. Anybody know how to stop that? If not, we can just link to it, or bloody delete it for all I care.

I thought it was funny, and I dig having some video on our site.

It is hilarious...
Help him by annoying the $--- out of him?

how odd...

also, the map thing gets slapped down at the bottom now...

the map is perfect on mine, right on the sidebar where it should be. and I'm using my tiny laptop screen. Hmmm, I guess you can adjust the size again if you like.

We used to get calls all the time from cardholders who couldn't cancell aol. These guys would be trying for months and get nowhere.

AOL would even charge closed account. Guys who were four months past due and forced closed by my company would still see freaking aol charges.

I think we did a trial with them a long while back. They suck!

I mean, not only is the customer service bad, it's counter-productive!

OK, I hate this thing playing automatically...

Someone, anyone, do something?

New ACPO log on there, shirts are changeable.

I love the ACPO shirt. But I would make it read "pee outside" instead of just "pee"

or how about 'real men pee outside'

The CS call...I got mad with the guy. ARGH...I'm just glad I've not had an experience that bad.

Jamison, I care...I like the birthday card. I laughed out loud.

On the pee shirt, I wonder if Brew caught onto something and didn't notice. If it said "Just Pee." it would be supper funny. The word "Pee" by itself leaves me wanting more words. Other possibilities or for a full ine of shirts:

Pee Free

Pee Freely

Defend your right to pee.

Public Urination Should Every Citizen's Right.

Conserve Water...Pee on Your Lawn.

BTW: Sorry, I didn't get the Christmas shirt.

thanks for the suggestions friends, but my work stays as is. No offense.
There may be more designs down the road, stay tuned.

Jamison, Consider what Brew and I have offered. New slogans on the front of shirts.

Product Variations is all we mean. Keep the shirt that says "Pee", but add more shirts with the same Logo using different sayings on the back of each. People like options and you aren't the one making the shirt are you? You just type what you want they print it on demand and send you the money. Is that right?

JS said...

the shirts are customizable. I will make more but I think people can type whatever the crap they want on it.

LOVE it, man!

I like it as "Pee" too...

Sort of reminds me of the "Focus" shirts that make you dizzy...

You're a gentleman and a scholar.

I still think you should submit your ideas to companies, too.

It might take a while to take off, but take off it surely could!

thanks... new ACPO tee shirt up

Love it!

Might need to spell out ACPO again, though. Of course, once it becomes a hit icon, it will be so recognizable that people won't need it spelled out...

I’d add the American Coalition for Peeing Outside across the shoulders on the back.

Great designs either way.

I’m not sure what it is about that damn hippo but I just love it. There is something endearing about its simplicity and general downtrodden expressions that I really enjoy.

If you don’t follow that thought to all of its logical conclusions in a year or two you’re going to be seeing little downtrodden animals doing the oddest things all over the place.

You’ll then think about all the cash someone raked in for such a simple idea, not to mention the overall satisfaction of seeing something you created “out there”.
