Royal Flush

Working at a school, I sometimes will wander into the boy's bathroom to pee, rather than use the faculty restroom. I would only do this if the faculy restroom was not near me at the time.

Each time I use the boy;s restroom, I notice none of the urinals are flushed. At first I would assume this was a hygene thing; That they wouldn't flush to avoid getting germs. But then I noticed that if there are any in there at the same time I am in there, that they leave witout washing their hands!!!

Is it really that hard to flush a toilet? Are they conserving water? they must be because they sure dont drink any water, the urnine int he urinal is almost a deep red! These kids must drink nothing but beer, if they drink anything at all!

I've always wanted to put a sign above the urninal that was a step by step instruction on flushing the toilet...

BTW Brew, still waiting on an answer from you regarding the wedding footage. I'd like some of the guys to see it. If you would review it on my youtube channel and let me know if I can change anything or you'd prefer me to remove it altogether, that'd be great.

Jamison- you need to do a cartoon person illustrating proper flushing technique. I have thought about doing an instructional cartoon person turning on the hand-dryer with her elbow myself. More accurate/realistic instructions than what they have posted already, you know?

turning on teh hair dryer with the elbow....? Thats a new one for me. Ive thought alot about an instructional cartoon of the disappearing quarter that I always do, but I dont do hands very well...

I'll give you an AMEN! This also seems to happen at church and I struggle with the fact that people (even grown men) can't seem to flush the toilet. Ergh.

Well, I must say I have always been a flusher, and am grossed out with wet toilet sets or 12 day old urine, but I did not consistently wash my hands until I started working fora health department. It wasn't that anyone gave me material telling me why, or the signs posted everywhere, "employees must wash hands." it was knowing what germs and diseases were walking in the door. I am a changed man.

I always flush because I like watching my nice, normal emerald-colored urine disappear down the pipe. If nothing else, I flush because I don't like the syrup smell.

Okay, maybe the "syrup smell" thing was over the line.

I beg you.... have a glass of water. You've no idea how healthy it is for you. Coke doesnt count and neither does sweet tea.

I appreciate the new modern convenience of self-flushing toilets.

Hand-dryers, not hair dryers. Like in public restrooms where they're too cheap to supply paper towels. And you don't want to touch the on button cause you just washed your hands.

Stubbs, I guess it is okay for you not to drink water, but make sure your wife drinks LOTS of water.

Hard dryers. I dont use them, I just use my pants if forced to.

I actualy do drink water, although not as much as I should. The green urine bit was a joke. Don't worry.

Btw, Diana drinks plenty of water. She's doing good. Just waiting on the baby to pop out.

Technically, my wife has about 6 more weeks but honestly I dont see how she can wait another week. how much further can her body stretch?

Dude, it aint just the kids. I see this in public toilets all the time, not washing hands too.

Do girls do this too, or is it some weird man thing? Maybe it's part of the whole peeing outside thing. Like I don't flush nature, so I shouldn't flush inside?

I heard somewhere, sometime (so it's probably not true) that some pee germs can swim up the stream and infect you, so I refuse to pee in anyone else's pee.

Water is good. I measure my intake by the color of pee. If it isn't clear I drink more.

Though doors and sink handles freak me out germ wise, I'm ok with the hand dryers. I guess I figure those who have touched it surely washed their hands.

Oh, and I haven't watched the wedding vid because I've been at my in-laws packing up their house and moving it all to a storage facility.

pee germs can not travel up your pee stream. If you were to watch your pee stream in high frame slow motion, youd not see a stream of pee, but mant drops of pee. The Myth busters busted a myth that said "If you pee on an electric fence, youll get elctrocuted" and that was deemed untrue. So pee freely in someone elses pee!

I love the exciting conversation about pee around here. I'm digging it. Ha! You know, Rachel brings up a good point. When I wash my hands I am afraid to touch anything afterwards. I don't don't even like turning off the faucet - yuk! I don't want to touch the door going out or any of that stuff. I think I have a bathroom phobia or is it a germaphobia related primarily to bathrooms.
PS Mat, I have the same pee on pee fear - there, it's out there.

Chris, did you not know that you are in teh midst of the founders of the ACPO? If not, go to my youtube channel and find the marketing campaign we did.

As for germophobia, we all went to college with a true one... we called him Gill. He would wash his hands (in his own dorm room) and leave the faucets on... eternally, until someone else turned them off... he would not even turn them off. that is a true sickness.

Don't remember Gil. Figured it wasn't possible to catch germs upstream, but it is still way gross to pee in someone elses puddle.

catching germs up-pee is impossible, but that's not to say that the spash of your pee in a previously pee'ed in toilet cant contain some of the pee germs of the former pee'er.
