No Fighting Boys!

I remember Mullins saying to me once how he wanted to arrange a mariage between Isaac and Alexandra. Unfortunately, Luke had first dibs. I have pics to prove it. Well, it turns out Noah and Caleb might be fighting over our second daughter. We just learned today I was going to forge new ground for the Midnight Cafe by having 2 girls in the family.

I was going to post some pics, but I found out my scanner needed some drivers after an XP crash a few weeks ago. I'll try to do that a soon as I finish the driver download.

On a related note, I have a new quick poll...
Please scroll down that LOOOOOONG side bar on our blog (I still wish we could minimize the 'label' column by default, I have yet to use it, but I digress) and please help my wife and I decide on a name for our child. It is narrowed down to 5 names. ALl family names.

Done.

Of course if you wouldn't create new tags for every single new post and just use the ones that existed, it would be a shorter list. You can change the whole layout of the blog and give it two sidebars if you want.I don't believe it will screw up everything with the new blogger.

i do use exisiting tags, but sometimes there simply arent appropriate ones. Im still curious if anyone but the Brew even uses them.

On an unrelated note, I was thinking of once a week or so doing a blast form teh past post... a blog posting from years gone by...

That's kind of my point actually. There isn't always going to be the perfect category, but that's what the more general ones are for. We have a category for Kellie and KellieJ. Pretty sure she's the same person. We also have "smoking" and "north carolina" and "ufo" All of those could have easily gone into "travel" or "fun" or "life story."

I'm not mad or anything, but the more detailed you get with the tags, the more there will be and thus the more there is to scroll down.

Honestly, I don't really use them either. But then the tags aren't really for the die hard users, but more casual readers. We've had plenty of new users and those tags can be helpful to them.

Plus, pretty much every single blog has a categories list. It is almost mandatory.

A blast from the past would be fun.
