He was a writer - Cats Cradle, Slaughterhouse Five, and others. Good stuff two. I highly recommend Slaughterhouse Five.

It's about the Dresden bombing in WWII and an alien abduction, and some other things.

He was a good writer and an interesting fella for sure.

Though I think some writers are more suited to go out like Hunter S. Thompson I'm glad Mr. Vonny chose a less messy path.

google.com was giving him some props on their banner today.

Hi, my name is David. Some of you know me, some don't. I've been a reader for a long time and have always enjoyed your posts. Keep up the good work, but I wouldn't wish peace upon KV. He was a whacko. That's not to say he didn't write some good books though.

Hi david, and welcome.

What do you mean he was a "whacko?" He did have some interesting political idea, and his books were certainly far from normal, I'm just curious as to what it was about him that made you make that comment.

No matter who he was, I still wish him peace. I'm not at all sure he'll get it, but I don't wish him any harm.

david is a dixon. The brother in law of frederick. he is very funny and a hoot to be around. We both regret not being pals at faulkner more than we could have been.

I just mean that he is a whacko in the sense of the things you just pointed out, plus also the picture that was chosen for the post. How old is too old to smoke pot? I guess whacko means "odd or eccentric" in this case. Which means we are all "whacko."

Doooood, you're never too old to smoke pot.
