I know. I should've posted this yesterday, but y'all wish Rachel a belated 27th b-day!
We went to Red Lobster for endless shrimp, then went to her parents' place for some nummy ice cream cake her Mom made. My parents were there, too, so it was very special and nice.
I got her a king-sized, memory foam matress topper and some nice, high-thread count sheets which we've both been enjoying. Luke got her a vase and some flowers and made her a card that had a pumpkin on the front and said, "I love you Mama. Here's a pumpkin!"
Twas a good and fun day. So, HBD, Rachel, my love!

Whoa! That's weird that Bethany is older than Rachel. Doesn't seem like that's right, but I must consider that Rachel was barely a Sophomore when we wed.

It all came up so fast that I didn't have time or presence of mind to spread the news.
Also, my Uncle Mark in South Carolina passed away the other day, so we were getting everything in line for Mom and Dad to stay with us last night before they headed up there.
It's been hectic lately.
Oh, and I start teaching my class at Faulkner next Tuesday!

Yeah the pic is creepy. Like a zombie b-day party. Anyway, thanx all! It was a good birthday after the part where I had to take Noah to get 4 shots which sucked big time. But I know, they'll keep him from getting sick. 30 here I come.
I just thought the pic was weird and sort of atistic and unusual.

Either way, it really has no bearing on Rachel's bday other thanit's a bday pic.

to me, it looks like the birthday-person is happy their friends are with them. The friends appear bored and not that interested, but the birthday person doesnt care and is happy to be celebrating another day of life. The two 'angels' appear to be bringing the birthday person the wish they wished for upon blowing out the candles...
sorry, but this art interpretation makes me think of a late-friend. Wendy Jones and I would go to the art museum alot. For some reason, art made her horney. I only know this because she told me, not because we ever did anything. She was a good, fun, non-judgemental friend... who got turned on by fine art.
