I hate computers.

I used to love them but not I have stopped the fetish and consider them a waste of time. Of course I really like playing Lego Star Wars II with Isaac and I couldn't do my job without using one. I enjoy getting emails from my pals, I hope you guys are all doing good, it's been a while. Still I don't like the dang things and someday when the great economic fall comes they won't even be good for keeping a fire going.

Here's hoping I remember how to get back on to this thing in the morning.

BTW I think I'll have a piece I did at the Grove Park Inn on line some time tomorrow. If I can remember how to post it on the WBIR site I'll let you guys know.

I remember using a computer that looked like that.

It's when your computer starts hating you back that you really have to worry.

Just commented Brales. I love computers. I love the communication between friends, making new friends, keeping up with the world, watching funny videos, playing games, writing, burning music and video.

Time waster? Well, yeah, more than a little. But its more entertaining than TV, and gives back a whole lot more.

I have not yet watched the videos because I have slow-as-molasass dial-up. I do, however, appreciate you putting them up, and have gotten good comments concerning botht the videos and the banners you posted. You know I love you, Jamison.

Btw, the word "botht" was supposed to be "both."

If it means anything to you...
Without computers, my wife and I would be doing something else, maybe doing something that doesn't earn what we make now...

BUT...

I dream fondly of having a new career that involves maybe one computer for games, email, internet, and the occational transaction.

When I was a kid I used to stay awake at night thinking about what I'd wish for if I had 1 wish- a lot of times I'd settle on a single pencil/paintbrush that would paint any color and texture and size I wanted it to. Now I have a Wacom tablet and Photoshop. I love computers.

Aye, well put Rachel.... but now, given the choice of a computer with photoshop or a magical paintbrush that can paint any color or shape or texture you desire, with no mess, wouldnt you chose the magic brush?

Most definitely. Do you know where they sell those? ;)
