Lewis descibes a plain as he climbs a hill. You can tell that he is trying so hard to describe what he is seeing but is unable to in words we would understand. I love reading all those stories about folks going into the jungles of Africa before it was all mapped out. Or crossing America when it was just the natives.<BR/><BR/>I was standing in a state park the other day, and looking across the horizon to see nothing but trees (except for the roads) and thinking about how it must have been all those years ago.
